# Lime Silo – Professional Lime Powder Storage Silo System
## Product Overview
Lime Silo is a fully sealed integrated storage system specially developed for hydrated lime, slaked lime and quicklime powder, widely adopted in municipal wastewater treatment, tap water softening, power plant flue gas desulfurization, chemical wastewater neutralization and mine water treatment industries.

Lime powder features strong hygroscopicity, easy caking and severe dust spillage when exposed to air. Conventional open storage brings serious dust pollution, material deactivation, bridging blockage and high manual management costs. Our complete lime silo system solves all these pain points via airtight sealing, top dust recovery, multi-dimensional anti-bridging discharging and intelligent material level monitoring. It realizes automatic sealed storage, stable quantitative feeding and unattended operation. Vertical and horizontal layouts are available with customizable volumes ranging from 5m³ to 300m³ to fit low-height plants and compact workshop layouts.

## Working Principle
1. **Sealed Pneumatic Feeding & Dust Recycling**
Lime powder is delivered into the silo via tank truck pneumatic conveying. A top pulse bag dust collector captures all lime dust generated during feeding and returns powder back to the silo, achieving zero dust leakage and fully complying with environmental emission standards. Vacuum relief valves balance internal air pressure to avoid silo deformation and moisture ingress.
2. **Moisture-Proof Airtight Storage**
The whole silo body adopts full rubber sealing structure to isolate external humid air, effectively preventing lime from absorbing moisture, agglomeration and carbonation failure during storage.
3. **Multi-Angle Anti-Bridging Discharge Mechanism**
The silo bottom adopts a steep conical hopper with aeration fluidization plates, vibratory arch breakers and air cannons, which thoroughly eliminate rat-holing, bridging and dead material zones. A variable-frequency rotary star feeder delivers lime powder evenly and quantitatively to downstream dissolving or dosing equipment without blockage.
4. **Intelligent Full-Automatic Control**
Radar level transmitters monitor high, medium and low material levels in real time and trigger automatic shortage alarms. The PLC control cabinet interlocks dust removal, arch breaking and feeding equipment to realize automatic linkage operation, supporting seamless connection with plant DCS central control system.
