Industrial Bulk Storage Tanks & Silos

Short Description:

Industrial Bulk Storage Tanks & Silos

Silo storage tanks are used around the world to keep bulk products safe. Many companies, from the oil companies to local food producers, utilize silos as a simple way to store huge amounts of any substance without putting it at risk. Silos can be built using a wide range of materials to meet the needs of the product that will be stored in them, and can also be refrigerated or coated for extra protection. Silos also come in horizontal and vertical orientations, but vertical silos are most popular for a number of reasons.

    Product Tags

Silos are the main part of our production range.

Since 2007, we have used designed and built more than 350 silos to store all kinds of materials — cement, clinker, sugar, flour, cereals, slag, etc.— in a variety of sizes and typologies — cylindrical, multi-chamber, cell batteries (multicellular), etc.

Our Silos have optimal monitoring and control solutions, both for

the contents weight and for the internal humidity filtration or maintenance. They can be completed with many different solutions, for

a more personal with the purpose of satisfy each Costumer’s need.

    Silos and Equipment

Our steel grain bins are delivered in sections for easy assembly and the roof is constructed in lightweight sections with shaped stiffeners. The bins are extremely strong and can be fit with catwalks and conveyor systems.

Design and manufacture of storage silos – BOOTEC has an outstanding record of fabricating and constructing steel silos for both raw material and liquid storage. We manufacture robust, high-performance silos to suit all types and quantities of material and can design and manufacture to the specific requirements of your process.

We have designed, fabricated and constructed silos for all the major industries and our experience in the bulk storage market places us as the leading fabricator in this field. Many silos are often designed to fit within confined areas of operating sites, in these cases, jacking construction techniques can be utilised to allow for safe construction at low level.

Versatile silos to meet your requirements

We can develop silos to store everything from foodstuffs and volatile chemicals to fine powders, fibrous materials or cohesive products. In addition, we offer a range of standard silo sizes in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities enable us to fabricate complete, ready-to-install storage vessels up to 4 metres in diameter.
