Our complete Bottom Ash Treatment System is a full‑set process solution specially engineered for waste incineration power plants, to collect, cool, convey, dewater, screen and store hot bottom ash generated from municipal solid waste incinerators.
Hot bottom ash and slag drop from incinerator furnace into water‑sealed scraper conveyor. The water‑seal trough achieves gas‑tight isolation to prevent flue gas leakage, meanwhile quenches and cools high‑temperature ash residues. Then wet bottom ash is transported to downstream via heavy‑duty trough chain conveyor / drag chain conveyor. Optional dewatering function removes free surface water during material transportation.
Subsequently, screening vibratory conveyor performs size classification to separate oversized impurities, lumps and recyclable fractions. Processed bottom ash is finally delivered to ash storage silos for temporary stock‑out. Conveyor housings are designed with reserved mounting flanges for rupture discs or explosion flaps to satisfy site explosion‑protection requirements.
This integrated bottom ash handling system realizes continuous automatic residue disposal, reduces manual intervention. It is widely adopted for municipal waste‑to‑energy projects, solving the harsh challenges of high‑temperature, abrasive, moist incineration bottom‑ash treatment.
