FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between 1st stage and 2nd stage ESP screw conveyor?

A: The 1st stage handles higher dust volume with coarser kiln dust; the 2nd stage carries lower flow of finer dust. We adjust capacity, wear protection and drive power accordingly.

Q2: Can this screw feeder run continuously 24/7 alongside the kiln?

A: Yes. It is designed for non-stop continuous duty matching cement kiln operating cycles.

Q3: Is hardfacing mandatory for kiln dust?

A: Not mandatory. Hardfacing is an optional upgrade for long service life under highly abrasive kiln dust.

Q4: Can we witness FAT inspection at your workshop?

A: Yes. Witness FAT is available. Full test records, photos and videos will be supplied.

Q5: What data do you need for quotation?

A: Dust flow rate for each stage, dust temperature, bulk density, conveying length, installation angle, hopper flange size and special wear requirements.

Q2: What is the difference between screw conveyors and chain conveyors? Which one should I choose?

    > Both types have different applications:

    > – Screw Conveyors: Best for powdery and small-grain materials (e.g., fly ash, cement powder). Good sealing performance, simple structure, low maintenance cost.

    > – Chain Scraper Conveyors: Best for bulky, highly abrasive materials (e.g., bottom ash, municipal solid waste, biomass fragments). Supports multiple inlet and outlet points.

    > – Bucket Elevators: Ideal for vertical or steep-incline material lifting.

    > If you are not sure, tell us your material and working conditions, and our engineers will help you choose.

Q3: Can your equipment handle high-temperature materials? What is the maximum temperature?

    > We can customize equipment according to material temperature:
