Reclaimer Screw Shaft

Reclaimer screw shaft serves as the key rotating assembly of silo screw reclaimer, specially designed for extracting bulk solid materials from the bottom of storage silos such as fly ash silo, sludge silo and solid waste silo.

This screw shaft is fabricated with thick-walled pipe hub and large diameter integral spiral blades. We offer material options including alloy steel (40Cr, 42CrMo) and stainless steel. Hard facing / wear resistant surfacing treatment is available for heavy abrasive working condition.

When rotating slowly, the spiral blades break up bridging and arching material inside silo, then reclaim material evenly and continuously to downstream discharging equipment. It solves material caking and blockage problems in ash silo of waste-to-energy plant.

Custom dimension, blade pitch, surface coating and connection flange design are available according to your silo parameters and material characteristics. Our reclaimer screw shaft is fully tested before delivery, suitable for long-time continuous operation under heavy load.

Key Features

  • Heavy-duty thick spiral blade, anti-wear for abrasive ash & solid waste
  • Alloy steel / stainless steel optional, 40Cr & 42CrMo available
  • Customized diameter, length, blade pitch and flange connection
  • Anti-bridging design to break compacted material inside silo
  • Applied for WtE plant, ash silo, biomass storage, solid waste system
