The Indonesian Makassar Waste-to-Energy project ia planned 20 MW bio-power plant in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, aimed at addressing the country’s waste management challenges while generating electricity. The project, part of a broader government strategy to diversify energy sources and modernize the sector, is currently at the permitting stage with construction expected to begin in 2024 and commercial operations slated for 2025.
