Our Dewatering Conveyor, mostly developed on proven trough‑chain / drag‑chain conveyor platform, delivers integrated conveying and dewatering for high‑moisture bulk materials. Specially designed drain slots are arranged on the bottom of the trough housing. Free surface water from wet materials flows out through drainage openings while the scraper chain continuously transports solids forward in one process step.
This heavy‑duty dewatering conveyor handles wet bottom ash, incineration residues, damp biomass, pulp rejects and sticky waste‑to‑energy by‑products. It removes surface moisture without extra standalone dewatering equipment, simplifies plant layout and cuts capital investment.
The fully‑enclosed trough structure controls dust emission. Wear‑resistant liners protect trough and chain from abrasive waste particles. Conveyor housing can be manufactured with reserved mounting flanges for rupture discs or explosion flaps to fulfil explosion‑protection requirements for waste‑to‑energy and recycling plants.
Widely applied in waste‑to‑energy incineration plants, biomass power stations, pulp & paper mills, solid‑waste recycling and slag‑processing facilities.
